Nourishing Face & Body Balm with Organic Beef Tallow – Lavender & Bergamot 120ml

A rich, nourishing tallow balm for the face and body, scented with pure lavender and bergamot essential oils. Soft, floral lavender blends with fresh, citrusy bergamot to create a clean, calming scent that isn’t overpowering.

Handmade in small batches in my little 300-year-old fisherman’s store beside the beck in Staithes, this concentrated balm is made with organic beef tallow and carefully chosen oils to soften, condition and protect dry skin. A little goes a long way.

Why beef tallow?

Organic beef tallow is naturally rich in skin-conditioning fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic and stearic acids. These nourishing fats help soften dry, rough skin and create a protective layer that helps reduce moisture loss, leaving the skin feeling smooth, supple and cared for.

Tallow can also retain the naturally occurring fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. This formula is also enriched with additional vitamin E to help nourish and condition the skin.

The nourishing ingredients

The essential oils

• Lavender essential oil has a soft, floral aroma traditionally associated with calm and relaxation, making it lovely to use as part of an evening wind-down
• Bergamot essential oil has a fresh, bright citrus aroma that gives the balm an uplifting feel and balances the softness of the lavender

How to use

For the face: Warm a very small amount between your fingertips and gently massage into clean skin, avoiding the eye area.

For the body: Massage a small amount into dry areas, particularly hands, elbows, knees and heels. Start with a little and add more if needed.

Ingredients

Organic refined beef tallow, jojoba oil, beeswax, hemp seed oil, vitamin E, lavender essential oil and bergamot essential oil.

Naturally occurring fragrance allergens: Citral, Geraniol, Limonene and Linalool.

Caution

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and do not apply to the eye area, mucous membranes or broken skin. Patch test before first use and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
