Handmade in small batches in Staithes, Mizpah is blended with nourishing plant oils to hydrate and soften the skin without feeling too heavy.

The nourishing oils

• Sweet almond oil helps to nourish and soften dry skin

The story behind the name

Mizpah is a Hebrew word meaning “watchtower.” Over time, it has also come to symbolise the bond between people when they are apart.

Our Mizpah is a beautifully restored traditional Staithes fishing boat owned by my family. She is moored in the beck right beside my little shop on Beckside, giving this oil an extra-special connection to Staithes.

How to use

For the body: Massage a small amount into slightly damp skin.

In the bath: Pour a small amount under warm running water and swirl through the bath.

In the shower: Massage onto damp skin, rinse lightly and gently pat dry.

Ingredients

Sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, fractionated coconut oil, wheatgerm oil, sweet orange essential oil, benzoin extract, vanilla extract and cinnamon bark essential oil.

Caution

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and broken skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Take care, as the bath or shower may become slippery.
